100 Medical students Academic career in AP The NTR University of Health Science not allowed 100 medical students of Fathima medical college students stating their admissions in their college 2015-16 against the norms of MCI (Medical Council of India). All the 100 students got admission for the year 2015-16 batch in September, after participating in the 3 rd or final Counselling. However, the college had not been granted permission for 1st and 2nd Counselling they managed to secure the interim order from the High court to get into the 3 rd Counselling or final Counselling. With the high Court interim order in hand, the Fathima college management went ahead with the counselling process and gave admissions to students. Highlighted: MCI had not given clearance to the Fathima College as per their norms, the admissions were cancelled by the council later. Improvement Track of Casting Vote during Elections: ELECTION IN INDIA BEFORE EVM: During the first two Lok Sabha elections in 1952 and 1957, and simultaneous Assembly polls, each candidate was allotted a separate ballot box. The poll symbol of the candidate or his party was pasted on the respective ballot boxes. There was no ballot paper yet with names of the candidates and respective poll symbols printed on it. The voters were required to drop a pre-printed ballot paper in the box of the candidate of their choice. The literacy in India was less than 30 per cent and such a system led to fears of manipulation, tampering and booth capturing. The separate ballot box system was replaced with a single ballot box one and now the voters were given a ballot paper with names and symbols of the candidates printed on them.
